Chyrll Vollmer

Chyrll Vollmer has been called to her heavenly home unexpectedly. Her daughter posted the following on Facebook today. Please pray for Chyrll’s husband Buz, their daughter Liz Brock, and their families. Buz and Chyrll have been active members of FaithWalk for many years, and she will be greatly missed.

“We are heartbroken to share that my mom, Chyrll Vollmer went home to be with Jesus suddenly last night, on September 23. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM this Saturday at Faith Baptist Bartlett and I know she would want everyone who knew her to be there! In lieu of flowers, I think my mom would love for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”

Prayers for Truly Wilson

Please pray for my wife’s niece, Truly Wilson. Truly is 6 years old and for the past few months has run a steady fever after having strep. The fever has landed her in the hospital on and off trying to figure out what is causing the fevers. This past week, her fevers spiked and she was unable to walk steadily so they admitted her back to the hospital. They found that there was swelling in her brain. Thankfully, the bloodwork and MRI results were normal, as far as they can see: They have sent all of her results to Mayo Clinic for further testing, and are waiting on results. The doctors are doing an immunoglobulin therapy in the meantime to try to stop her antibodies from causing inflammation in her brain. Please pray for definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. We are so thankful they do not think it is cancer.

Please keep our son Chris in your prayers

Hello!  Could you please pray for our son, Chris (31)?  He was admitted into the hospital last Wednesday.  During that time, his CT scan showed a mass on his lower left lung.   After 5 days and many, many testings later it was determined to be an abscess along with a bacterial infection.  He was released Monday evening along with a 6 week region strong antibiotics.  After 8 weeks, he will have another CT scan in order to see if the abscess has been resolved.   Please pray for a clean bill of health.

Thank you!

New Journey Ahead

Hey ladies, I definitely miss all of you! Would y’all please be in major prayer as my husband and I along with our 3 children are about to embark on such an exciting journey. As many of you know I have struggled with infertility for 8 years after losing 2 babies that are in heaven with our Savior as well as my husband due to his age (12 years older than me lol) that he was done having children. I surrendered my infertility battle on the cross at faithwalk 90, however on 6/26/23 I received a phone call that shook myself and my husband. It was a call from my aunt asking if we would be willing to adopt her great grand baby. On 6/29/23 after 15 minutes of discussion my husband looked at me and said this is what God has told me He wants us to do (OVERJOYED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT BECAUSE ITS BEEN A HUGE DREAM OF MINE TO RAISE A CHILD WITH MY HUSBAND) so after 4 short days we returned the phone call and said absolutely 10000000000% yes. On 7/10/23 we found out we would be welcoming a precious baby girl to our family the last week of November first week of December (Koltleigh Blayke Patrick💗)! With that being said I left on 7/11/23 to begin the very start of this journey. My best friend and I loaded up and made a 28 hr trip to Utah to pick up the mother and her 2 daughters (2&4) and then drove the 36 hour trip back to Tennessee. In doing that we are not only having to come up with legal/adoption fees but prepare our house for a newborn plus we are having to pay ALL expenses for the mother and her 2 daughters until 6 weeks after Koltleigh is born. Freaking out/stressing out about how in the world are we going to be able to afford all of this is a constant fear of mine. I know God is in control and He led us to where we are now and He provided us with a precious baby girl so I know He will somehow/someway make a way for all of this to work out. I’m just in panic mode not knowing how we are going to continue to do this financially until the end of January. So please keep us in your prayers for God’s will to continue to be done with all the glory to Him and His kingdom and to provide everything along the way! Please know we appreciate every single prayer we can get and we are so excited just kinda panicking about some of the details listed above! I love each of you and I hope everyone is doing great and that God will continue to bless each one of you every single day!

With Much Love💗

Kayla Patrick
