Prayer & Praise – Urgent

This is a reminder that this Sunday at 915am at Faith Baptist Church on Germantown Parkway I will be getting baptized. I really need my Faith Walk brothers and sisters to be there. If any way you can be there, please come. I want to share this with as many people as possible. God bless you all. This is Greg Stricklin Faith Walk 101. Table of Timothy.

Pray for my 28 year old son, Matthew.  He is 60+ days sober from alcohol. He suffers 24 hrs a day with severe back pain and has depression.  Not sure what is causing his pain yet, as he hasn’t had the money to go see a doctor. He said he’s going to go to The Med to get help. Pray he finds a job that he can physically do. Pray for him, his wife and child to find a safe place to live. Presently living in a very unsafe place in Memphis. He is a Christian and attending a God preaching church regularly.  Thank you.

Please pray for Sean Ginn who has been diagnosed with cancer in his abdominal cavity. He is scheduled for very serious surgery on January 27th followed by chemo and other procedures.  Pray for miraculous healing.

From Blake Hix – The FW 99 and FW 100 team could use some immediate help with the cleaning of the golf carts. The golf carts have gotten dirty from weathering and setting out since the last Walk. If anyone would like to help, please contact Blake Hix @ (901) 864-5945.

Faithwalk Family,

I would like to request prayer for the jail system in Fayette and Shelby Counties specifically, however I believe the entire state may be shut down. The doors have been closed to volunteers since covid and there is no end in sight. This means that Jesus’ hands and feet cannot bring His love to some of the people who need it most.
I ask that we pray for those in charge to have changed hearts and minds to open their doors and allow access to these inmates spiritual needs.
I ask that you Praise our Lord and Savior for opening those doors in His timing for it is all for His Glory!

Praise and prayer for Bonnie Has in FWMS#8 as she is recovering from successful surgery for lump under arm that was diagnosed as cancer.  After removal along with several lump nodes for biopsy it was found to be negative for any cancer cells.. Continued prayers for her recovery from surgery in a tender area..

From Terry Ginn,  One of my drivers was found dead in his truck waiting to pick up at AstraZenica. He and the rest of my drivers and FedEx dispatchers are like family. Prayers for his wife, Tina, and all of us please.

Please pray for my husband, John McCain, he is having surgery for a blockage above his iliac artery on Friday morning at 7am.

I have been asked to share that Libby Burdick passed away today at 3pm. She is now in the presence of the Lord and no longer in pain. Lift up Anthony and their children as they go through this journey.

Libby Burdick has been suffering from ALS for the last couple of years.  On Thursday, she was admitted to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House behind BMH Collierville. Her condition has worsened tremendously over the past few weeks & especially the last few days.  She has asked to just be kept comfortable now.  And has told Anthony several times she’s ready to be with Jesus.  Anthony is asking that we pray that they can keep her comfortable & that the Lord will cover her with His mercy.

Psalm 91:1-2 says, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.^[  I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”  Please pray that Anthony and Libby will feel the closeness of the Lord in their lives like they have never felt it before.  That they may “rest in the Shadow of the Almighty.”  In His Shadow. Jerry O. Potter
